Key Lessons From This Episode:

Lesson 1: Don’t Try To Be An Expert

You don’t have to position yourself as the all-knowing expert.

Instead, speak from personal experience: “Here’s what I tried, what worked, and what didn’t.”

This approach not only makes your content feel more authentic, but it also lowers the pressure to have all the answers.

Your audience relates to you more when they can see your process, not just your polished outcomes.

Lesson 2: Validate Before You Create

Don’t sink months into building a product you think people want.

Use polls, casual questions, DMs, and audience feedback to confirm demand for your product idea before creating anything.

Ask what people want, and then build it for them.

Lesson 3: Keep Your Offers Simple

Instead of creating a 12-module mega course, focus on solving one crystal-clear problem in the simplest format possible, whether that’s a 1-hour workshop, a one-on-one consulting call, or a digital swipe file.

Specific solutions to specific problems are far easier to sell and faster to create.

Lesson 4: Sell Without Being Sleazy

It’s impossible to please everyone. Some people will unsubscribe when you sell - and that’s perfectly fine.

Focus on helping the right people, talk about your offers naturally and repeatedly, and only use marketing tactics you feel good about.

When your product genuinely solves a problem for your audience, be okay with mentioning it often.

Lesson 5: Treat Everything Like an Experiment

The less pressure you put on a single product or launch to succeed, the more fun business becomes.

Treat every offer, every piece of content, and every sales approach as an experiment.

Keep what works, drop what doesn’t, and don’t be afraid to try new things - even if you suspect it’s not a great fit for you.
