We often think of compounding as a financial concept, but it may be even more powerful in relationships and community. Every thoughtful conversation, every article, every act of showing up adds another layer of trust. Thank you for sharing these lessons from Rome—they reinforced that idea beautifully.
It's interesting to see that you're not really into Black Friday deals, but I can get the reason behind that (I hate the email tsunami in my inbox too).
And it reminded me of an email marketing book I have read some years ago. It started with the reasoning that "You are not your subscriber/reader" and you have to repeat it enough time to let it sink. :))
And the book went on with an example: you might have a rash from emojis, but if your audience lives on emojis, you have to speak their language... 😁 So since I read the book, I try to get out of my own mind when it comes to the decision about my audience :)
The 88 percent figure is painfully familiar from project work. A team can deliver every agreed output and still create no value if people don't use it. Adoption isn't the final workstream, it's the delivery.
Felt every word of this recap Sinem and love your honesty, you were meant to be in that room to be shown what’s possible (and to create a Black Friday offer)… supporting and cheering the three of you on every step of the way!

Haha at least none in the spotlight!! 🤣
Oh my gosh, Sinem!!! I have been anti-Black Friday, too. Tell me more! Can't wait to see how you do this...I may be making the switch like you!
I think you were valuable to attend for so many businesses there...you were the the blue part of the sea in a Red Sea... do you think
