Hello! Thanks for this. I have a quick question - what do you do when you don’t have testimonies? Ask people you know to do it/join and to add? Or how do you build it up from 0.

I feel like a lot of content and learning revolves around point 0 or 10 steps ahead - but what about those awkward first few steps where you haven’t established yourself because you just started. You know?

Thanks!

Yeah start by asking people you know!

And also, manually reach out to engaged subscribers (whether free or paid) and ask them if they want to write a short testimonial that you can feature on your Substack.

That’s definitely the part that feels most challenging to many writers! What are you currently doing to convert your readers? :)

Are you able to articulate why your readers would be interested in your exclusive content in particular? I'm assuming that yours isn't the only publication on that topic, so it's important to highlight what exactly you're doing differently and why they should invest in you in particular.

Did you ever see investing being talked about in an easy to understand way AND funny?

Hi Jari.

This was all great information presented in an easy-to-read, easy-to-digest format.

I haven't yet taken the plunge, but this type of information helps me believe that success is possible.

I appreciate all the work that you do.

Thanks again.

Yes, these Cs are most important to process, but there are more. The first is Clarity, being clear on what it is you want to do, your mission, audience, products, systems and the like. There is also Commitment, Consistency and Catalysts that all of play their parts. Covey teaches 7 habits of the successful. That number is probably about correct. Process and execution presumes you have taken care of the less tangible factors.
