I understood the guest writing.. That you write a newsletter for someone else but what do you mean by cross posting exactly.. Does it mean restacking? Or cross posting on different social media platforms
I recommend guest posting. First build a bit of a connection with other creators (like their notes, leave comments, reach out in DMs, etc.) and then pitch a few specific article ideas that are useful for their audience.
After the guest post, suggest exchanging newsletter recommendations. :)
Thank you for the suggestion! I really appreciate you taking the time to share this.. it sounds like a smart and actionable approach to me. I will keep that in mind. Thanks again!
Loved all these tips ✨

Thank you, Shivani!
It basically means that you write a guest post for someone else, and they write a guest post for your publication. :)
Super new here, getting into notes, would love to get into guest posting… thanks for the insights here!
Thanks, Anna! And welcome to Substack :)
Very practical tips. I never thought marketing paid tier is necessary so that's a great reminder!
Really useful!!! Many thanks!! Quick question: how did you approach collaboration when you were just starting out?
