These are great ideas, thank you. You've shown us how to step forth and ENGAGE with the community. Seems like that's the core thing.

I hope this is one of my 5 meaningful comments that you suggested I do every time I post a note ;-)

Yes, I understand now that my Publication name may be misleading. I kept it Recenter and rediscover life for people who have suffered from trauma to make fresh beginnings. Nut perhaps not everyone can understand it in 3 seconds. Happy to partner with others and start a livestream on understanding Trauma and healing from it.

Regarding exchanging recommendations, would appreciate advice on how to target other newsletters. I'm guessing that a swap would be most attractive if both parties have the same amount of subscribers. If I am new and only have a couple hundred of subscribers, I doubt if there would be much interest in swapping recommendations with someone with thousands of subscribers.

Hi Liza! :) You might find this helpful: https://writebuildscale.substack.com/p/the-ultimate-guide-to-growing-your

You're more likely to find partners that are at a similar stage as you, but it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. If you can clearly communicate why a collaboration would be valuable and what you can help them achieve or how you can provide value to their community, you might also be able to partner with creators that have larger audience sizes. In that case, the collaboration might be more difficult to set up and manage since you might need to provide a clear ROI for the "larger" creator, but if you have high expectations for the return on your investment, this might be worth considering.

Great tips, but unfortunately many of us have 40+hr daily jobs and the level of work suggested is just not feasible.

Weekly jobs….. 40hrs in one 24hr day is terrible, but I’ve had a few of those!

I write about how flavour is built in spirits, from grain and yeast through to distillation and cask chemistry.

Mostly aimed at distillers, educators, and people who want to understand what is actually driving flavour.
